Contacts
There have been numerous changes with contact lenses in the past year.  With this new technology we have contacts that are healthier for the eye and more comfortable to wear.  We now have bifocal contact lenses and lenses to correct astigmatism.  If you were unable to wear contacts in the past, you need to be re-evaluated, there is a great chance you can wear them now.

Corneal refractive therapy is a non-surgical alternative to correct myopia (nearsightedness).  In addition, there is new research showing that children, as young as 10, can wear the lenses to slow the progression of myopia.  Dr. Eidal is one of the few doctors in the central valley that fits corneal refractive therapy lenses, gas permeable and bifocal gas permeable contact lenses.
