Concern About Hyperphoria
Hyperphoria is one topic Dr. Eidal discusses, explaining
the damaging effects of one eye focusing higher than the other.
When this occurs, reading speed and comprehension are severely
affected – directly influencing your ability to read
and ultimately your position in life if left untreated. Those
most susceptible to such harsh effects are computer operators
and schoolchildren.
But with Dr. Eidal’s research, hyperphoria is treatable.
Unfortunately, many optometrists are still unfamiliar with
how to address this problem and may not even test for it.
