Dr. Eidal returned to the central valley in 2005.  He earned his Optometry Doctorate from the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating with high honors.  While at SCCO he won awards for top doctor in ocular disease and low vision.   He has also won an award for his research in Custom-Lasik procedures, which was published in an optometric report. 

During the past four years Dr. Eidal has been studying with Dr. Tajiri to hone his skills in the specialties that Dr. Tajiri provided.  These include diagnosis and treatment for vertical heterophoria syndrome (hyperphoria), gas permeable contact lenses, bifocal gas permeable contact lenses, and corneal refractive therapy.

Dr. Eidal is a member of the following associations: American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, Central California Optometric Society, Golden Key national honors society, Beta Sigma Phi national honors Society, and Reedley Chamber of Commerce.
